Halliwells Wins Corporate Team of the Year Award

Law firm Halliwells has won the 'Corporate Team of the Year' Award at the Liverpool Law Society's Legal Awards 2009.

The award was collected by Sue Russell, partner and head of Halliwells' Liverpool corporate team, at the awards ceremony at Liverpool's Crowne Plaza Hotel on Saturday night.

Sue said:

"We are absolutely delighted to collect this award.

"Corporate Team of the Year was a very competitive category so to be chosen as the market leader is a significant achievement.

"Our Liverpool corporate team has really come to the fore over the last three years, advising on a range of local, national and international deals.

"We pride ourselves on providing a detailed, specialist understanding of corporate transactions from a business standpoint as well as a legal and regulatory one. We have a 'can do' attitude and complete deals on time and on budget.

"In the current economic climate, strong client relationships are hugely important and it is the quality of our people and loyalty of our clients which has driven our performance2

In addition to winning the Corporate Team of the Year Award, Halliwells was also shortlisted in three other categories - Dispute Resolution Team of the Year, Employment Team of the Year and Real Estate Team of the Year.
